Cubs History-June 2

The best and worst of times for the Chicago Cubs in June. If the Cubs have a good team, the excitement starts to gear up and great things happen like Ryne Sandberg's incredible game against the St Louis Cardinals where he hit 2 game-tying home runs against a former Cub and top notch closer, Bruce Sutter (did I mention eventual Hall of Famer as well?). Sammy Sosa had an incredible streak of home runs that led him to the all-time record for the month of June (20). The bad news, the beginning of the end for Sammy in Chicago with the corked bat incident.
