In Los Angeles, the Cubs defeat the Dodgers 15-2.  Lee Walls has a big day, hitting 3 home runs and driving in 8 runs.  

July 10, 1958

Lee Walls goes 2 for 3 with a home run & 3 RBI as the Cubs defeat the Pirates 8-7 at Wrigley Field.  

July 13, 1958

Lee Walls gets 7 consecutive hits in a DH sweep of the Phillies at Wrigley Field.

July 14, 1958

A wild game at Wrigley Field as the Cubs score 4 runs in the 9th to tie the Phillies 9-9 and than win it in the 11th with a 2-run rally after the Phillies score in the top of the inning.  Lee Wall's goes 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored, a home run, double and 4 RBI.  His 2-run double begins the scoring in the Cubs 4-run 9th inning.  

July 16, 1958

Cubs get come from behind victories in both ends of a doubleheader against Reds. In GM1 Bobby Thomson drives in Lee Walls & Ernie Banks with a 2-run double for a walk-off 5-4 victory in Game 1 of a doubleheader.  

In GM2 Cubs come back in Game 2 to win 7-5. This time the 3-run rally was in the 8th inning.

August 3, 1958 (GM2)

In Gm2 of a DH, Lee Walls goes 2 or 4 with 3 RBI as the Cubs defeat the Phillies 12-10 at Connie Mack Stadium in Philadelphia.

In Los Angeles, the Cubs defeat the Dodgers 9-3.  Lee Walls hits 2 home runs and drives in 3 runs.

In Gm1 of a DH, the Cubs defeat the Giants 6-4.  Lee Walls 8th inning 3-run home run breaks a 3-3 tie.  Dick Drott's complete game 3-hitter in Gm2 gives the Cubs a 4-1 victory and a doubleheader sweep.
