walk-offs including a walk-off grand slam by Ron Santo in 1968. Scot Thompson goes 5 for 5 in 1979. Reds pitcher, Tom Browning goes up and joins Cubs fans on the rooftops and a very memorable fight in Cubs history when Eric Show hits Andre Dawson in the head with a pitch.

Cubs defeat the Padres 10-0 at Wrigley Field. Rick Reuschel pitches a 4-hit complete game shutout. It is the Cubs 3rd consecutive shutout against the Padres.

One year after he shuts out the Padres on 4 hits at Wrigley, Rick Reuschel shuts out the Cardinals, scattering 9 hits in a 2-0 Cubs win. Larry Biittner homers.

Cubs get 15 hits and defeat the Astros 6-0. Scot Thompson goes 5 for 5 with 5 singles. Ken Holtzman pitches a 3-hit complete game shutout and his double is the only extra base hit for the Cubs. Mike Vail drives in 4 runs in the 2nd game to complete a Cubs sweep with an 8-3 victory.
