Ian Happ hit 24 home runs and drove in 68 runs in just 115 games in his first season with the Cubs in 2017.  

He earned one 3rd place vote in the Rookie of the Year balloting and his 24 home runs were the 3rd most by a Cubs rookie (Kris Bryant, 26 (2015), Billy Williams 25, (1961)).  Bryant & Williams both won the Rookie of the Year awards.
