Cubs defeat Red Sox 3-1 in GM2 of WS as Lefty Tyler pitches CG and has 2 RBI as Cubs even Series at 1 victory each.

September 6, 1953, game 1
Cubs trail the Reds 6-5 into the 9th inning, Joe Garagiola ties the game with an RBI double that also sends Dee Fondy to third base.  Dee Fondy than steals home for the walk-off winning run.  This was game 1 of a DH, Cubs sweep the DH with a 7-2 win in game 2.
