At Wrigley Field, Moe Drabowsky pitches a 2-hit complete game shutout as the Cubs defeat the Reds 1-0.  Ernie Banks homers for the only run of the game.

the win, pitching a complete game.

Ernie Banks gives Cubs a 2-1 walk-off victory with a solo home run off Don Sutton in the 11th inning at Wrigley Field.

Sammy Sosa hits his 57th home run of the season breaking Hack Wilson's Cubs team record of 56 home runs in a season.   the Cubs defeat the Pirates 5-2.

At Wrigley Field, the cubs defeat the Marlins 9-7.  Starlin Castro goes
2 for 5 with a double, home run, run scored & 2 RBI.

At Wrigley Field, Anthony Rizzo hits a grand slam, Addison Russell hits 2 home runs as the Cubs defeat the Diamondbacks 14-5.  

September 4, 2016
Jason Heyward drove in all 3 Cubs runs, including the walk-off hit in the 13th inning for a 3-2 Cubs victory over the Giants. 

September 4, 2020

Yu Darvish takes a perfect game into the 6th inning until Matt Carpenter's home run.  A big win for the Cubs as they face Cardinals ace, Jack Flaherty. Willson Contreras goes 3 for 4 with a home run and all 4 Cubs RBI on the day.  Darvish ends up with 11 strikeouts in 7 innings and the Cubs pitching staff holds the Cardinals to 2 hits in a 4-1 Cubs win.

Cubs geta great comeback and defeat the Pirates 7-6 after scoring 3 runs in the 9th inning.  Alfonso Rivas, Rafael Ortega & Frank Schwindel all get RBI singles, Schwindel's was the walk-off.
