Cubs clinch the pennant to go to WS with a 4-3 victory over the Pirates.

September 29, 1967
At Crosley Field, Billy Williams homers twice and Fergie Jenkins pitches a complete game victory (his 20th win of the season) as Cubs defeat the Reds 4-1. 

September 29, 1971
At Jerry Parc, Billy Williams homers twice, but Expos come back to defeat the Cubs 6-5 on a walk-off RBI single by Ron Hunt. 

September 29, 1976
At Three Rivers Stadium, Steve Renko pitches a 5-hit complete game shutout in a 1-0 victory over the Pirates and Larry Demery, who also pitched a CG, allowing just 3 hits, including a HR by Rick Monday.

Mike Hampton shuts down the Cubs for 8 1/3 innings, but Cubs come back to score 3 runs to send the game to 10th inning.  Luis Gonzalez drives in Mark Grace with an RBI single in 10th for a 4-3 Cubs walk-off victory.
