The greatest home run in Cubs history?  I have to say yes considering all
of the circumstances.

The Cubs were 1/2 game behind the Pirates for the NL lead to go to the World Series.  Gabby Hartnett was facing one of the league's best pitchers, Mace Brown in the ninth inning with the score tied 5-5 and darkness was coming to Wrigley Field before lights were installed.

Hartnett hits a walk-off home run that will be known as the "Homer in the Gloamin".  The Cubs do go on to make it to the World Series in 1938.

A wild game at Wrigley as Astros get help from 2 pinch hit
home runs (James Mouton & Mike Brumley) and the game goes into
extra innings tied 9-9.

In the 10th, both teams score runs.  Sammy Sosa's SF sends the game to the 11th inning.

In the top of the 11th inning, Brumley hits his HR to give Astros an 11-10 lead, but Cubs rally for 2 runs in bottom of 11th on Scott Bullett's RBI single and Mark Parent hits the walk-off RBI single for a 12-11 victory at Wrigley Field.

The game takes 4:51 to complete and 18 pitchers pitch in the game
(Astros 10, Cubs 8).

This was also the game that Randy Myers was attacked on the mound by a fan.

strike out 14 Royal batters.

Ben Zobrist goes 0 for 5 for the Royals but leads them to a World Series

September 28, 2017
One day after clinching the NL Central title, the Cubs have a fun win in
St. Louis over the Cardinals.  Taylor Davis gives the Cubs a 2-1 lead in the

The Cardinals loss eliminates them from the playoffs.
