The first walk off game in MLB history as Cubs defeat the Cincinnati Reds 4-3 in Cincy

May 1, 1958
Johnny Goryl hits a one-out ninth inning walk-off home run as Cubs defeat the Milwaukee Braves at Wrigley Field, 3-2.

May 1, 1963
Cubs score 8 runs in the final 4 innings to overcome an 8-5 Cardinals lead.   Cubs win 13-8.  Ernie Banks goes 3 for 4 with two 3-run home runs and drives in 7 runs.  Nelson Matthews,   Dick Bertel & Ken Hubbs also homer for the Cubs.
 
May 1, 1971 
At Wrigley Field, the Cubs defeat the Phillies 7-4.  Billy Williams doubles, homers twice,  walks, scores 3 runs and drives in 4.  Fergie Jenkins pitches a complete game to earn the victory against his former team. 

May 1, 1974 
At Wrigley Field, the Astros defeat the Cubs 11-7.  Bill Madlock has 4 hits and a home run.  Rick Monday and Billy Williams homer for the Cubs as well.   

May 1, 1979 
Bill Buckner homers twice and Ken Holtzman and Bruce Sutter shut down the Reds on 6 hits as the Cubs win 5-1 at Riverfront Stadium.  

May 1, 1985
Cubs defeat the Giants 4-3.  Shawon Dunston leads off the 9th inning with a walk, steals second base and after Bob Dernier is walked intentionally, Dunston & Dernier pull off a double steal and the Cubs win on Bob Brenly's throwing error allowing Dunston to score. 
 
May 1, 1991
Cubs jump to an early 7-0 lead over the Astros and Jim Deshaies as Andre Dawson homers and Hector Villanueva homers twice.  Cubs defeat the Astros 11-3 at Wrigley Field.

May 1, 1996
Cubs defeat Cardinals 9-3 at Wrigley Field. Ryne Sandberg hits 2 home runs and drives in 4 runs.
 
May 1, 2015 
Jon Lester pitches 7 strong innings and combine with Pedro Strop & Hector Rondon on a 4-hit shutout as the Cubs defeat the Brewers 1-0 at Wrigley Field.  Addison Russell drives in the only run of the game with a home run.
