Ken Aspromonte hits a 2-out run-scoring single to drive in Billy Williams for the tying run in the ninth and than singles home Lou Brock for the winning run in 11th inning as the Cubs defeat the Cardinals 7-6 at Wrigley Field. 

May 22, 1966
In 2nd game of a doubleheader, George Altman homers twice with 3 RBI as Cubs defeat the Braves 4-3. 

May 22, 1969
At Dodgers Stadium, the Cubs defeat the Dodgers 3-0.  Fergie Jenkins pitches a complete game 4-hit shutout, striking out 7 with no walks.

May 22, 1974
Jerry Morales has a big day at Wrigley Field against the Mets.  Morales goes 3 for 5 with 2 home runs and 6 RBI.  His 9th inning 3-run home run gives the Cubs a 9-6 victory.

Andre Dawson is intentionally walked a ML record 5 times by future Cubs manager, Lou Piniella's.  The moves ultimately don't pay off as the Cubs defeat the Reds 2-1 in 16 innings at Wrigley Field.  On the subject of MLB managers, the batter in the line-up behind Andre Dawson is future manager, Lloyd McClendon.
