Cubs avoid a sweep in New York against the Mets with a 2-0 victory over the Mets and Marcus Stroman.  Javy Baez drove in both runs of the game with a long HR to center field, driving in Kris Bryant.  Kyle Hendricks and 3 Cubs relievers combine on a 2-hit shutout.

At Wrigley Field, the Cubs defeat the Pirates 6-0.  Jake Arrieta pitches 6 scoreless innings, giving up just 2 hits.

June 17, 2015
In Cleveland, the Cubs defeat the Indians 17-0.  Kris Bryant hits a grand slam off position player, David Murphy who was pitching late in the game.  Kyle Schwarber goes 4 for 5 with 2 RBI and his first MLB home run.

Trailing 2-1 to the A's in the 8th inning, Xavier Nady's sacrifice fly driving in
Kosuke Fukudome ties the game and Fukudome wins it for the Cubs in the 9th with a walk-off RBI single driving in Geovany Soto.

At Wrigley Field, Cubs starting pitcher, Ishmael Valdez drives in the only run
of the game, but leaves the game due to an injury after pitching 3 innings.  Steve Rain pitches 3 2/3 scoreless innings to earn his first MLB win as Cubs defeat the Expos 1-0.

At Wrigley Field, the Brewers defeat the Cubs 6-5 despite 2 home runs by Jose Hernandez.

Sammy Sosa homers twice and drives in 5 runs in a back and forth game
that the Cardinals win 11-10 over the Cubs at Wrigley Field.

Keith Moreland goes 4 for 5 with 2 home runs but Cubs lose to the Phillies 9-7 at Wrigley  Field.

At Wrigley Field, Bill Buckner & Jay Johnstone homer for the Cubs and Ryne Sandberg reaches base in all 5 at bats as Cubs defeat the Expos 12-8.  Andre Dawson has 4 hits for the Expos.

A nice comeback victory for the Cubs as they trail the Phillies 5-0 until
a 6-run 5th inning and a 3-run 6th inning in a 9-5 Cubs victory at Wrigley
Field.  Tim Hosley homers and drives in 3 runs.

Cubs defeat Cardinals 7-6 in 10 innings at Wrigley Field. Don Kessinger goes
6 for 6 and scores tying & winning run.

Ernie Banks & Wille Mays both homer at Wrigley Field. 1st time in MLB history that 2 500+ HR hitters homer in same game

At Wrigley Field, the Cubs defeat the Phillies as Billy Williams homers twice
and drives in 5 runs.  Williams and Ron Santo hit back to back home runs in
the 8th inning.

Cubs sweep a doubleheader at the Polo Grounds in New York.  Lou Brock hits a home run to the centerfield bleachers, which are over 450 feet from home plate.

In the 2nd game of a doubleheader, Bill Lee pitches an 11 inning shutout as the Cubs defeat the Boston Braves 3-2 at Wrigley Field.
