Mark Grace 2-run walk-off HR completes Cubs 3-game series sweep over the Mets.  Cubs defeat the Mets 6-4 at Wrigley Field.

Phil Cavaretta & Bill Nicholson each hit 2 HR"s as the Cubs defeat the Dodgers 12-3 at Wrigley Field.

July 30, 1944
In Philadelphia, the Cubs defeat the Phillies 11-2.  Andy Pafko goes 4 for 5 with 2 runs scored and 3 RBI.

July 30, 1968

Cubs defeat the Giants 10-4 at Wrigley Field.  Adolfo Phillips homers twice and drives in 4 runs.

In game 1 at Wrigley Field, Rick Reuschel pitches a 6-hit complete game shutout and drives in a run as the Cubs defeat the Cardinals 4-0.  Cubs come back and win game 2 to sweep the doubleheader.

Cubs and Phillies split a doubleheader, Ron Cey homered twice in the Cubs game 2 loss.

At Shae Stadium in New York, the Cubs defeat the Mets 4-3.  Ron Cey's bases loaded 3-run double drives in Bob Dernier, Gary Matthews and Keith Moreland and the Cubs hold on for a 4-3 victory over the Mets.

Cubs hit 4 home runs, 2 by George Bell and back to back home runs by Luis Salzar & Shawon Dunston, but lose 6-5 in 10 innings to the Reds at Riverfront Stadium.

At Wrigley Field, the Cubs defeat the Phillies 8-0.  Jim Bullinger pitches a 3-hit complete game shutout.

Jon Lieber wins his 5th consecutive decision with a complete game, 4-hitter against the Giants, striking out 8 and walking 1 in a 3-1 Cubs win at Wrigley Field.

Aramis Ramirez hits 3 home runs as Cubs defeat Phillies 10-7.

3 for 4 with a double, home run, a walk, 2 runs scored & 3 RBI.

At Miller Park in Milwaukee, Anthony Rizzo's 3-run homer gives the Cubs a 3-2 lead and the Cubs defeat the Brewers 5-2.

At Miller Park in Milwaukee, Victor Caratini gives the Cubs a 3-2 lead with his first major league home run.  Kris Bryant homers in the 8th inning for a 4-2 Cubs win.
