Clyde McCullough hits 3 home runs, but Cubs lose to the Phillies 4-3.

July 26, 1945
At Wrigley Field, the Cubs and Hank Wyse defeat the Reds 2-1.  Wyse pitches a complete game, giving up just 8 hits and a run. 

July 26, 1961

Bob Will hits a walk-off RBI single in the 12th inning off Lindy McDaniel as Cubs defeat Cardinals 7-6 in 12 innings at Wrigley Field.

Ernie Banks & Ron Santo homer as the Cubs defeat the Houston Colt 45's at Colt Stadium 3-0.  Larry Jackson pitches a 5-hit complete game shutout.

At Crosley Field, the Reds defeat the Cubs 9-6.  Billy Williams homers twice. 

July 26, 1969
Randy Hundley drives in all 3 Cubs runs, including a walk-off single in the 11th inning  as Cubs defeat Dodgers 3-2 at Wrigley Field.

Glenn Beckert gets 5 hits in the 2nd game of a doubleheader to help the Cubs avoid a sweep against the Atlanta Braves 7-6 at Wrigley Field.

Tyler Houston has 3 hits, home run and 6 RBI in a 17-4 Cubs victory over the Rockies at Coors Field.

A slugfest at Veteran's Stadium in Philadelphia as the Cubs break an 8-8 tie in the 9th on back to back home runs by Mark Grace (grand slam) & Sammy Sosa.  For the day, Sosa hits 2 HR's with 4 RBI.  Grace has 4 hits and 6 RBI.

Cubs trail Arizona 6-4 into the bottom of the ninth.  Ben Zobrist leads off the inning with a walk and scores on David Bote's 2-run home run to tie the game.  Anthony Rizzo follows Bote's HR with the walk-off home run for a 7-6 Cubs victory at Wrigley Field.

The Cubs win the first series of the 2020 season with a 9-1 win over the Brewers at Wrigley Field.   After the bullpen had a rough time the day before, 3 Cubs relievers pitched 3 scoreless and hitless innings.  Tyler Chatwood pitched a solid 6 innings, giving up just one run and 3 hits, while striking
out 8. 

The offense broke out on a day that the wind was blowing out.  Willson Contreras, Ian Happ & Anthony Rizzo all homer for the Cubs.
