In New York, the Cubs lose to the Giants 8-6 in 12 innings.  Moose Moryn goes 5 for 6 with an RBI.

July 14, 1958

Cubs come back multiple times after trailing early 9-3, the team scores 4 runs in 9th inning to tie the game 9-9.  In the 11th inning, the Pirates score a run to take a 10-9 lead, but Moose Moryn's double drives in both Sammy
Taylor & Ernie Banks for an 11-10 Cubs walk-off  victory at Wrigley Field.

Cubs score 3 runs in 9th inning.  Jose Cardenal has an RBI double,  Glenn Beckert's RBI single ties it and Paul Popovich wins it with a walk-off RBI single.  Rick Monday, Billy Williams & Carment Fanzone all homer for the
Cubs as Cubs defeat the Braves 9-8.

At Wrigley Field, the Cubs defeat the Dodgers 10-4.  Keith Moreland goes 3 for 4 with a triple, home run, walk, stolen base & 4 RBI.  Ryne Sandberg goes 3 for 4 with 2 walks, 2 home runs, 3 RBI and 4 runs scored.

Mark Prior & Ryan Dempster combine on a 2-hitter as the Cubs defeat the Pirates 5-1 at Wrigley Field.

Javier Baez drives in 5 runs as the Cubs defeat the Padres 11-6 in San Diego.

Cubs play the Orioles in Oriole Park at Camden Yards and blow an early 8-0 lead, but win it 9-8 in the ninth inning on Addison Russell's home run.  Willson Contreras, Kyle Schwarber, Jason Heyward & Ben Zobrist also homer for the Cubs.
