August 23, 1963
At Wrigley Field, Billy Williams goes 2 for 2 with a walk, sacrifice fly, 2 home runs and 5 RBI.  Cubs needed all of this production in a 6-5 win over the Mets.

Champ Summers and Rick Monday hit pinch home runs for the Cubs, but the Astros win the game, 14 - 12.

Cubs defeat the Giants 6-5 at Wrigley Field on a walk-off walk to Leon Durham.

At Wrigley Field, the Cubs defeat the Giants 8-5.  Bill Buckner goes 4 for 4 with 2 RBI & 3 runs scored.  

August 23, 1991
Trailing 4-1 into bottom of 8th,  Andre Dawson homers & Hector Villianeuva RBI single, Jerome Walton RBI SF & Mark Grace completes the comeback with a walk-off RBI double.  Chuck McElroy & Les Lancaster combine to pitch 5 1/3 scoreless relief innings to help Cubs come back and win.

At Wrigley Field, Cubs hit 4 home runs, 2 by Sammy Sosa, 1 each by Scott Servais & Shawon Dunston as the Cubs defeat the Marlins 10-2.

August 23, 1998
At Wrigley Field, Sammy Sosa hits 2 solo home runs, but Craig Biggio hits two 3-run home runs as the Astros defeat the Cubs 13-3.

At Wrigley Field, you gotta love 3-run home runs as Aramis Ramirez hits 2 of them in a 9-2 win over the Nationals. 

August 23, 2015
Dexter Fowler leads off 1st inning with a home run and the Cubs hit 5 home runs, 2 by Kris Bryant as the Cubs defeat the Braves 9-3 at Wrigley Field. 

August 23, 2016
In San Diego, the Cubs defeat the Padres 5-3.  Jake Arreita pitches 8 scoreless innings, allowing just 2 hits.  

August 23, 2018
At Wrigley Field, Cole Hamels pitches a complete game in an 8-2 Cubs win over the Reds.  Anthony Rizzo & Javier Baez homer for the Cubs.

August 23, 2020

Yu Darvish goes to 5-1 on the season and helps the Cubs a series sweep by the White Sox at Wrigley Field.  Darvish could not stop Jose Abeu who hit his 6th home run of the 3-game series for the only White Sox run of the game.  Former Cubs prospect, Dylan Cease pitched well for the White Sox, but Kyle Schwarber's 6th inning, 2-run home run is the game winner as the Cubs defeat the White Sox 2-1.  Darvish struck out 10 batters in 7 innings.  


August 23, 2021

A great comeback victory ends in a walk-off for the Cubs.  Kyle Hendricks gives up 3 runs to the Rockies in the first inning, but does settle down and pitches into the 7th inning.  Cubs tie the game in the 8th inning on an RBI double by Michael Hermosillo and win it 6-4 on a 9th inning, walk-off home run by Rafael Ortega.
