Hank Wyse pitches a 1-hit shutout as the Cubs defeat the Pirates 6-0
at Wrigley Field. Wyse won 22 games with a 2.68 ERA for the 1945 Cubs
team, the last team to go to World Series.

Bill Hands pitches a complete game, giving up just 2 unearned runs and the
Cubs win the game on a Ron Santo walk-off single scoring Billy Williams
Cubs defat Expos 3-2 at Wrigley Field.

April 28, 1982
Cubs defeat Reds 6-0 as Dickie Noles pitches a one-hit complete game
shutout.   Noles walks just 2 batters and faces just 29 batters (2 over
the minimum of 27). Eddie Milner, who broke up another Cubs no-hitter,
gets the only hit of the game, a single in the 4th inning.
April 28, 1984
At Three Rivers Stadium in Pittsburgh, Scott Sanderson pitches a complete
game 2-hitter, facing just 28 batters as the Cubs defeat the Pirates 7-1.

At Chase Field, the Cubs defeat the Diamondbacks 11-3.  Alfonso Soriano homers and drives in 4 runs.  Mike Fontenot & Carlos Zambrano homer as well for the Cubs.
