A1:  Ed Reulbach threw a one-hitter in game 2 of the 1906 World Series against the White Sox at South Side Park
A1:  Claude Passeau threw a one-hitter in game 3 of the 1945 World Series against the Detroit Tigers at Briggs Park

A2:  The New York Yankees swept the Cubs in the only 2 World Series the two teams have played against each other.  the first in 1932, the second in 1938.  Perhaps the Cubs can face their old friends Starlin Castro & Aroldis Chapman in the next few years to break this streak??

1) Lon Warneke won 4 consecutive Opening Days for the Cubs from 1933-1936. Rick Reuschel lost 4 consecutive Opening Days for the Cubs from 1978-1981

2) It has been awhile since the Cubs were no-hitted. Sandy Koufax not only no-hitted the Cubs on September 9, 1965, but it was also a perfect game. It was Koufax's 4th no-hitter which was a major league record at the time (Nolan Ryan now has the record with 7).
