In Game 3 of the 1932 World Series, there were 6 home runs hit in the game, Kiki Cuyler and Gabby Hartnett homered for the Cubs, Lou Gehrig hit 2 home runs for the Yankees and Babe Ruth hit 2 home runs as well, and one of those home runs, a 5th inning solo home run to give the Yankees a 5-4 lead that they will not lose on their way to victory is one of the most controversial and well-known home runs in MLB history, the legend of the “Called Shot” home run.  Did Babe Ruth really call this home run before he hit or not?  One of the many things in baseball history that will be debated for many more years.
